- edatlantaExplorerI like looking at boost on mine also.
- ib516Explorer III have mine set for rail pressure, trans temp, boost, and coolant temp.
- PapPappyExplorerI don't know if you have any other gauges in the truck, but I'd opt for those you mentioned, if you don't have any. Usually there is a water temp, so I'd pass on that if there is another gauge.
I happen to like the MPGs too, it's kind of fun to see if you can keep the numbers as high as possible:)
But depressing when it's usually around 7-8 mpg:(
As mentioned, it's easy enough to change settings, that you may want to change them periodically during a trip (say when stopping for gas/food) to monitor other aspects of the engine. No sense keeping an eye on the Tranny Temp, and then forgetting about something else equally as important.
Merry Christmas:) - larry_barnhartExplorerI use the water temp, volts, air intake temperature and instant fuel economy.
fuel economy is just for fun. We lost the speedometer on a long trip so I used the speedometer on the scanguage .
chevman - SooperDaddyExplorerThe 4 you named would be my choice. It is so easy to change the Scan Guage settings that you can pretty much monitor anything going on in your engine compartments at any time with little effort.
