Shorter trailer with two 80" long beds + a place to sit?

I was looking for a shorter (<25') trailer with two 80" long beds plus a place to sit.

Are you aware of any plans like this?

I came across this Palomino that is available as either the Real-Lite RL-179 or the Palomini 179BHS. Pretty cool idea in a small 21'8" trailer.

- East/West 56"x80" bed
- East/West 38"x80" dual bunks
- Sofa
- Small slide opens it up a bit
- Large storage door to bunk area
- 84" wide trailer

We would ideally like dual axles and a little more room, but this seems like a decent combo for someone basically looking for a hard-sided tent and a toilet.

Thank you!
  • It's tough finding any travel trailer, especially a shorter one, with two 80" long beds!

Thinking a shorter, lighter toy hauler may be a good solution.

This is a Jayco Octane 222, but there are other manufacturers with similar floorplans.

Good suggestion. Our Rockwood Roo 233 had 3 60 x 80 fold down beds and two axles.

I had not looked at these. Just looked at the floorplans for the Roo. I will need to check out one of these in person.

    Thank you.

Thank you for those suggestions. I checked them out and most of the beds are 74" rather than 80".

The main criteria is two 80" long beds.

    Oh...lol..

We take the mattress out and put in a 60x80 residential queen. Fits on existing platform for the two trailers we have owned. Both trailers had walkarounds.

I wouldn't limit yourself on mattress size being a negating factor

It becomes an issue if you are a family of tall people, LOL.
  • No sink in bathroom? Shaving? Hand washing? DW’s hair and make up?
