Is there any place in Texas like the Slabs or Q.?

Are they going to move the "Frozen Sidewinder" horse-shoe event normally held in January inside the new mall or will it be near the new golf-course? :h
Still being decided by the city council. They are apparently trying to squeeze that and the catamaran races all into a two month period.
