Slide out a little or all the way AF990 EC960 Lance 995?

We are thinking of moving up to a model with a slide. At this point focusing on the EC960, AF990, or Lance 995. First quesiton - can you reasonably get in and do the baisics - get to fridge, use ...

We have a AF 990 and are not large people, we can get into the camper without the slide open, can use the bathroom, get to the refer and sit at the dinette. You can just bump out the slide and then it is much easier to do all the above.
