Slide out doesnt work

My 2005 Keystone Springdale 26RELL has been parked for 3 years. Went to open the slide and nothing happens. Batteries are fully charged and hooked up correctly. Interior/exterior lights work on battery power only. Rig is plugged into shore power. When I engage the switch, I get nothing; no motor hum, nada. I'm no electrician! I appreciate any help I can get.

Well, it's working. Found that the wire going to the resettable fuse wasn't connected securely. You guys are great and I truly appreciate everything!

Here's where I'm at: Finally found the resettable fuse. Been looking at it for 2 days and didn't know what it was.1 terminal is corroded. Is it cleanable or do I need to replace it? No slide lock that I can see nor ever heard of. I'll look for the slide control panel now.

Stay close, I'm sure I'm not done yet!!!

I had an issue with my slide a few years ago. Found out that on my trailer tongue was a solenoid that ran from the battery to the slide. In my case the wire was loose and not making good contact. Yours may be corroded from sitting so long. If it were me and having very little experience with electrical problems, I would check that first.

is there a slide lock out switch?
our kz spree has a switch on the wall to open and close the slide, but there is also a switch on the ceiling(well away from curious kids) that shuts of power to the slide control switch and prevents kids from from playing around with the slide out

Look for a slide control panel. For instance, mine is located under the refrigerator; you have to take off a wood panel held on with 4 screws to get to it. That's the magic box that controls my slide motor.

Should be a circuit breaker, not far from battery. Follow the pos lead from battery, several feet, possibly inside pass through wall.

Does anyone know of another fuse or circuit breaker apart from the regular fuse panel inside the trailer? I looked underneath, near the batteries and found the box, but it is just a wire connection box with nothing else. Where else could there be a break in the system? Like I said before, everything else works.

Moving the slide out manually was a hoot. If I didn't have arthritis in my shoulder before, I do now!

Good time test moving it out manually?

I checked all the fuses at the fuse panel, all are good. I don't know where the fuse at the battery is.
I got behind the switch and tested the positive and negative wires that appear to come from the fuse panel. No juice at that point, which makes me believe there is no power coming to the switch. I can't see into the back of the panel. Also, there is no notes on the fuse panel that indicates which fuse belongs to the slide. Is there a separate fuse hidden some where?

Check the fuse at the battery

It doesn't sound like the motor is getting any juice, no hum or click. I moved it out about 6 inches manually, but still nothing.

To me, battery power sounds good. I would try (if you have a helper) to have someone press the slide button and 2 people one on each side of the slide and maybe just give it a tad "help." I helped a couple on a trip, theirs would not come in. This did the trick for them.

Well, it would definitely be worthwhile reading
"The 12 volt side of life" before you start trying things.

Just google that, and read it before you begin. It might help you understand the electrical system. There is Part 1 and Part 2, but for this, Part 1 will likely give you a lot of information.

If you have two parallel batteries, then both are 12 volt batteries. Taking one out and putting it closer to the slide motor wires will not hurt.
