Sliding doors on Heartland TT
I have had problems with the plastic piece on the Sliding Door Hanger Heartland used on my 2012 North Trail TT to hang the sliding wooden door separating the bunkhouse from the kitchen/dinning area and the master bedroom from the kitchen/dining area.
I recently order a replacement part from Camping World the picture shows a piece exactly like what broke for me however the actual part sent is all metal. Instead of a plastic locking cam it is metal. Looks like it should hold up much better.
I hope no one else has had a problem but if you have Camping World http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/sliding-door-hanger/49692
Sliding Door Hanger by RV Designer part H529
Bar code number 6 01320 48529 6
Seems to be the trick.
I have never had the restraining strap come loose while traveling however I had the sliding door hangers brake. Not sure why. Again hope you never have this problem but if you do this info should help.
