Sliding Glass Door Lock

Has anyone replaced or added an additional entry lock on their sliding glass doors? Just purchased a 2022 Jay Flight 34RSBS and the lock on the sliding glass doors seams a little flimsy. I’ve been looking online but all the locks are to secure the door once you’re inside and I’m looking for a better lock for when I’m not there. Any suggestions?

The first and third links aren't exterior locks. The are placed at the back edge of the door which is only accessible on the inside.

But the second link is for exterior sliding door locks and should do the trick. Good find.

You will have to copy and paste. I googled "Outside patio door locks"

A quick search doesn't show anything that could be set from the outside. Is that the only door to the trailer?

As MFL mentioned, I’m looking for a better entry lock so I can secure the door better when I’m not at the trailer.

Agree with you nick, but you missed the OP stating to lock the door from outside.

Anyway, I've no help to offer OP either. 🙂
