So Long

My TC sold last week. A very sad time for me. I have to cross off several of my favorite spots. It just got to be so much work to take on/off took the fun out of going (lugging around hitch extensions, tail gates, bed mats and batteries). I would have loved to keep it as a permanent TC hauler but no way I could afford that.

OTOH it is hard to feel sorry for myself with a brand new Super Duty diesel, Arctic Fox TT and Kawasaki 750 Brute Force. And living in Idaho I don't ever have to go to a campground unless I choose to.

I'll still read the TC forum, especially the trip reports. I just won't be an official TC'er. :(

    Based on your photo, looks like you've already got the TT down pat! Looks real nice there! Each "camper" has it's own unique plus's and they also have their unique minus's too. Enjoy the new camper, enjoy all the new "plus's" it has to offer that the TC did not and relish the memories of the TC for all it could do, the new TT cannot. Add to your experience, and have great stories to tell everyone. Congrats! No regrets, just lots of "Congrats!"

    This change will be exciting and a bit sad at the same time. You still have many of your toys (boats, sled? motorcycle?) to enjoy. You still have Idaho. I look forward to seeing trip reports from your new style of adventure.

    I think you are going to like you new Arctic Fox. Ours is new also and we sure like it.

    No, no, no... none of this "so long" BS. You have a truck and a camper.. just not a truck camper.:) You have too much time vested here to "just read" the TC forum.:)

    When I sold the TCer I thought of a trailer and if I would have gone that route a Arctic Fox was the only one that I wanted. They seem to be made for the climate.

    It doesn't matter what you use as long as your on the road and getting out there! Looks like a great setup, I'm sure you and the missus will enjoy!
