Almost ready to join the truck camper community and I'm pretty sure it will be a SRW 4x4. I would love to see some pictures if you guys don't mind sharing. Thanks so much...

A couple of months ago we purchased our first truck camper, a Hallmark Everest. Here is a picture of our first night. Just outside Denver.
We have just purchased a new truck and have yet to mount it but hope to soon!

This was my 2005 Ford F250 with an Arctic Fox 811 pulling a 20' Interstate Car Hauler. The truck was under 20' long, 22' with the camper and 45' with the trailer.

With the Camper Package and 18" wheels from Ford and upper and lower StableLoads, frame tie downs and FastGuns from Torklift, I was within wheel and axle capacities with minimal sag.

Towing an enclosed trailer (3500-10K lbs) required additional upgrades. Firestone airbags, Rancho RS9000XL shocks and 245/70R19.5 Dynatrac PD 890 tires on Vision Heavy Hauler 81 rims allowed for the additional tongue weight.

400-1200 lbs of tongue weight is applied to the SuperHitch and SuperTruss through a Harbor Freight round bar 10K lb WDH. RockTamers are used on the end of the SuperTruss to keep debris from being kicked up by the tires.

GVW was 11,500-12,500 lbs based on loading and the truck empty was 7250 lbs. RAW was 7000-8000 lbs with an empty weight of 2750 lbs. GCW with the trailer ranged 16,500-19,500 lbs.

Just a few more pics of my TC on a SRW or where I've been.

Camping in the Loup Loup area.

One of the many forest service roads I've been down.

Camping on the Oregon Coast. Note: That's a very short spot. Having a TC made it possible.

At a turn out, cooking lunch along the WA Coast.

Another forest service road in WA.

And another one near an old fire.
