- rbpruExplorer IIWe sat out a couple of tornado warnings in a campground wash house last year.
Fortunately it was just goose drowning rain. The high winds topple a few trees about a mile away. It definitely was not any fun.
I wish those folks well and I am glad there were no fatalities. - gaymeadowsmanExplorerYesterday the National Weather Service stated that the storm that hit the area was indeed an EF-0 tornado, winds between 90 and 120 mph. It was on the ground for a little more than a half a mile, beginning at the high school baseball field.

Wow that sucks. Some really lucky yet unlucky people there.
Another reason to make sure your insurance is up to date and you rig is insured for full value not some wholesale book value.......even if it costs $10 more a month.

Trailers can be rebuilt easier than people. May The Good Lord help those who are suffering from great anxiety and financial difficulty.
- coolmom42Explorer IILuckily no report of fatalities. Doesn't look like they had any warning, other than a tornado watch. I wonder if it was straight-line winds.
