Thinking about upgrading

My wife and I are thinking about upgrading some time in the next year or so. We have been browsing and came across a couple models that we like and would fit our family. I don't want anything much over 6k dry, so we have narrowed it down to the 2016-2018 jayco 28DSBH and 2018 mallard m26.

We want bunks, at least an outdoor fridge, and like the look of the painted rounded caps.

Does anybody have any experience with these trailers or know of one I may have missed that fits our criteria?

    I just bought an older Mallard. We really like it. I had a 2010 Wind River built by Outdoors RV. The build quality of the Mallard blows away the Wind River.

    Yes everything currently has been weighed at the scales, that's how I know about how much weight I will be adding.

    I appreciate the concerns about weights if they are genuine, but I am well versed on weights and ratings being a member in here long enough.

    I'm just asking about trailers around a certain weight with certain features.

    It makes a big difference. If he hasn't weighed it... (most people) then he could be towing a LOT more now, than he thinks. Which would mean that his new, heavier TT will be even MORE than he thinks.

    you really should go by the wet weight, loaded to travel and compare that to allowable towing weight as long as it is under the GVWR

    I'm planning on adding 1000 lbs to the dry weight with everything for camping. Total, I don't want to tow much over 7k is what I meant.
