This came as a surprise
I have an enclosed utility trailer parked in front of my house in Minneapolis, because I'm moving, and it is a lot easier to park on pavement than in the back yard, especially in winter. And handier to load stuff. So today I went to pick up a newspaper, and when I got back, there was a parking ticket on the trailer tongue. It says that it's illegal to park a trailer on the street that is unattended and unattached to a tow vehicle.
Well, I would have thought that the vehicle license plate on the trailer would have allowed it to be parked on the street. Learn something new every day. Could have gone the rest of my life without learning this, and been just as happy. I'll soon be $42.00 poorer.
Word of caution to anybody else who might park a trailer on the street. It might be illegal.
