We've been itching to get it out, too. This will be our first full year of camping. Bought the camper last Memorial Day, took a couple weeks to get it, and ran it into a tree on our second trip out (took six weeks to fix).

As others have stated, waiting for a week or so of night-time temps above freezing. Will pull it out of the shed and clean it up, probably will not de-winterize until first week of April, just to be safe.

Night time temps above freezing... wouldn't that be great!

I'm counting the days until we have day time temps above freezing and night time temps far below freezing... then I will tap the trees and let that sap run! Maple Syrup season is almost here!!!

The trailer comes out of the winter cover the first weekend in May, by then the driveway is no longer too soft to move the trailer around and most of the snow is gone. I'm typically in Florida for the last two weeks of April anyway, so the trailer sits in my yard slowly melting snow from itself while I bask in the sun!

It's going to be 30 below zero with a wind chill of -42 tonight, so we won't be camping for a while. Trailer should come out of storage in mid May.

My wife thinks we should get it out and start using it for visits to my brother's. She likes having our own space, especially the bedroom. Without the trailer, we usually go down and back same day (couple hours each way). We've had a bit of mild winter but still respect what the weather can do so will dry camp probably until May...

I resemble that remark. Would like to camp in early May but not sure if it will happen this year, the snow is pretty high all around the camper.

First trip of the year is March 20th for a canvas camper rally.
Current temps/climate "arctic". I don't think I'll make that trip.

I store my trailer because I don't have room for it. But I've never really winterized like most.

After each trip, I blow out the lines as best I can. That's about it. I live in the Sierras (Profile needs to be changed). We get lots of freezing temps.

Reason I don't is that it's common for me to use it a couple days each month. Couple weeks in Oct for hunting season. Much more in the summer.

So I use it so much that winterizing just doesn't work out.

Heading to FL in mid March. I'll winterize the water system when we get back. Then, end of May, it will be off to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier! After that, more fun exploring Ohio and nearby states....west coast on MI is calling!!

Camper will come back to the house March 14 as I'm not paying for another month of storage unless we get buried by a late snow. First trip of the season for our anniversary in mid-April.

Our first trip is planned for Memorial weekend. Due to other commitments, we don't really have any opportunity to camp earlier than that.

We have camped at the end of April before. It just depends on the year. Last year, there was accumulated winter snow on the ground that didn't thaw until mid April.

I'm spending the winter in a warm place, for the first time in my life.

I'm reading this thread and feeling grateful!

Heading out next Friday for a 4.5 hour drive to the beach in Mexico. Should be in the 70s.

When its brutally hot here in Phoenix 115+ then its up to the mountains.

I feel sorry for all you guys that have that much snow......one thing about really hot, you don't have to shovel it or slide off the road.

PS. It will be spring break, so plenty of bikinis running around !
