The Sumos are a dense kind of foam material like the originals. But, they are bigger and longer. The Timbrens are solid rubber with a big hole down the middle. The Sumos are about $50 bucks a set cheaper. The install procedure is the same for both. When I was looking I wasn't so much concerned about the price difference as I was about the on-line reviews. Sumo seemed to get better reviews. The first side took about 20 minutes to do. The second side took about five. Money well spent I'd say.
