Hey now, I never said having a dually you can drive for another 800 miles with a blowout. However I have witnessed where the person had one and was able to make it to his destination then get the tire serviced without having to stop on the side of the highway.
BTW, that other tire on the rear lasted another 2 years for that person, allowing him to replace all 6 at once.
