Tire Covers

Hi,
Can you please tell me what the best tire covers are for a Travel Trailer? I had the material canvas ones but they tore after a few months and I need good ones that will protect the tires from the hot summer heat yet let the tires breathe so they don't go bad. Please advise, your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
  • Paint a piece of plywood to match the RV and put it in front of the tires. It does just as good a job of protecting the tires and may last longer than the rig.
But we use the vinyl ones we bought from CW.

I've had Adco covers on mine winter and summer for 7 years. They're on their last legs now, but have been fine for that time. I think I got them bogo at cw, iirc.
Have also had the ADCO tire covers. I have to give them a good cleaning every year but they have held up nicely for 4 years. Here is a link
  • Thanks all,
I guess I better start looking for the vinyl covers instead of the canvas.

  • It sounds like the ones you had weren't UV protected. Mine are made out of the same material as boat tops are. You then need to use some 303 Aerospace Protectant on them, just like you would the tires. The 303 is available at boat shops, CW and other such stores.

    303 clicky
