You ought to stop buying Chinese a get quality tire sometimes.
Not sure how you came up with that.
Hankook - manufacturing facilities in South Korea, the People's Republic of China, Hungary, Indonesia, and the United States.
BF Goodrich - facilities in Tuscaloosa, AL, Wooburn, IN and Opelika, AL
Cooper - The main centers are situated in Findlay, Ohio, Melksham England and Kunshan China.
Big O (made by Cooper)
Yokohama - manufacturing facilities in Salem, Virginia, and another in West Point, Mississippi.
Michelin - (current tires) Michelin produces tires in France, Poland, Spain, Germany, the USA, the UK, Canada, Brazil, Thailand, Japan, India, Italy and several other countries.
So which tire manufacture would you recommend??
Looks like its kind of hard to tell where some of them were made. The Michelins I'm currently running could have been made it China. Are Michelins considered cheap Chinese tires?
I have no desire to buy tires that last 70-80,000 miles. They are made from a hard rubber compound which is why they last soo long.
I would hate to have tires that are hard with 60,000+ plus miles on them to travel on during the winter months.
I much refer to put new tires on my truck in the fall previous to the winter months. I've replaced tires that were not worn out because I didn't want to run then during thru the winter.
There are two reasons that I bought the Michelin Agilis tires.
1. They have 30% more nylon than Michelin's best LT tires. They are LT commercial tires. Better for carrying my camper.
2. They have the snowflake rating so that means they are made of a softer rubber compound which makes them better in the snow than all season and regular AT tires.
Good winter tires are very important to me. More so that tread life.
