Tonneau Cover

Look at Softopper. It's not a Tonneau, but a folding Cap. Attachment is with a 3/4" AL tube that is clamped to the bed lip. The web site states and shows 3 min setup and 2 min tare down. Very accessible and dry in side. If interested I'll take pictures of mine.

Everyone around here seems to have those tri-fold ones... They seem pretty nice. Dunno how they mount though..

I use a Undercover tonneau cover on my truck in the winter. Extremely tuff, easy to store in the off season hanging on the side of my garage with hooks that came with it, and easy to install and remove.

I made the mistake of getting the low profile cover which has a rail mount that attaches along the b d instead of on the top rail. It cuts down on the width of the bed so each time I load the rig I have to remove the rail. Not a big deal but I would have gotten a top mount so I wouldn't have to deal with this. Just something to consider.

I bought mine on Amazon for $299. For short bed. TruXedo 269101 TruXsport .No drilling. Sits on top of bed rails. I leave rails on and roll tonneau cover up to load camper. Haven't had any problems. The C clamps that hold the rails in place take up a little bit of bed width (maybe an inch off each side) but not enough to cause me to remove them during loading of the camper.

I have a retrax roll up, 4 bolts on the clamps and the whole thing comes out. takes maybe 10 min

Extang Trifecta is what you are looking for. Install or remove in 2 minutes, tool-less, no hardware to install. It holds up to Minnesota winters and car washes just fine. I have had mine for 9 years so far and works and looks like new (Signature Series).

With my Bigfoot if I got the Extang, I would have to store it in my rig while going from place to place along with my tail gate in a bag on our bed. That's why the roll up works.
I may have to get creative on clamping. I really like to be able to roll it down for dry and semi secure storage.

I went through this search a couple of months ago. I ended up with an Undercover SE because my wife and I could unload it easily( it only weighs about 60 lbs), it could be stored without much effort, it left minimum interference in the bed when removed, it locked (and this included locking the tailgate), and it is very strong. It sounds, however, as if you are looking for a different style. We initially were looking for a retractable cover that would not interfere with the camper, was lockable, was strong, and we could carry with us for use when we unloaded the camper. Of course you have to be able to carry the tailgate to make it truly lockable, and you need to be able to lock the tailgate independently. The best we found was the Peragon cover. This looks like a good product(we have no association with the company). They were great to talk to and the price was reasonable with free shipping. It sticks inside of the bed sides but well within the wheel wells. The reason we did not purchase it was that the camper would have to set back about 2". We wanted to keep the camper as far forward as possible so went the other direction.
