There is a couple products on the market that you can plug into the back of your 8.4 that will allow you to switch your cameras among other things also.

I'll get a pic of the cargo camera on, it would probably help some if you didn't have a mirror on the front of the trailer, but I think it is more geared towards a gooseneck because of the angle.
