Torklift is using my rig in a promo

the link was sent to me by another TCer asking if it was my rig. it is. Kind of cool

  • Good looking set up so no wonder Torklift used it

And you found this out from someone else :H

I've been a Torklift Ambassador for several years.....using different products/providing feedback so I'm surprised they hadn't been in touch with you prior?
  • Torklift Central is their service side of the company. I don't think Eric has brought his rig to WA for any work by them? I also saw this and was scratching my head. His truck is configured with Torklift gear like my old F250. My 5500 doesn't have any suspension modifications, but I do a have a set of upper StableLoads I can install if my Host and gear get too portly.
  • Nice, thank Gawd it wasn't a pic of "What NOT to do...' LOL.... just joking..
you'd think they'd let you know if they're going to use it and maybe a discount or something..

Strange, the guys/gals down at the shop are usually pretty "real" but maybe coming from another dept...

    Anyway, good show...

I had sent them the photo a while back in a positive feedback email after a rough and windy trip to the Unites States Dressage Federation Region 7 Championships at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center along with permission to use the photo if they wanted to. I just had not seen it used until now.

My wife Ruth ended up as the second level California Dressage Society adult Amateur Champion http://www.usdf.org/docs/announcements/CDSChamps100316.pdf
  • Aw, you're just another pretty face, Buzz. Or at least your truck rig is...
  • Glad you said where pic came from. I was about to comment. I delivered to them for many years prior to retiring. Great bunch of guys, well most of them. Always amazed that they keep coming up with new products year after year. When they first opened up their "shipping yard" it was a mud hole. As years went by their yard got better. To this day access is tight at their main shop. My kid who runs a trailer shop in So Cal gave us a tour of their production machinery many years ago.
  • Yes, pretty cool and Well Deserved, Eric.

You do a lot to help people around here and keep them safe too without ever asking anything in return. That makes you an important member here in this forum, IMHO.
