I have the CIPA mirrors for my 2010 F150. They are a mix of the right performance, appearance and cost. I too considered the OEM replacements. Considering I only tow the TT a dozen or so times through the summer, I opted to not have the large mirrors stuck to my truck for the other 8 months.

Yeah, I'd have got the Max Tow package on my F150 but seeing as I park in a city garage for my day job the big mirrors would be a pain.
I have a set of McKesh mirrors I used on my Envoy. But the doors on my F150 don't have a lot of curve and the mirror straps vibrated a lot. So - I ended up with the CIPA mirrors and am happy with them.

I've tried them all and these are definitely the best. They are Milenco mirrors from the UK.

You'de be money ahead to swap to the factory style towing mirror. Best money you'll ever spend! Yes they are $$$$, but well worth it.

We've had McKesh for several years and DH is pleased with them. Suggest you also invest in the convex round mirrors that are available to go with them....terrific.

Go to www.ksource.org and check out their "Fit System" towing mirrors. These are excellent OEM-looking mirrors with turn signals and everything. They have them for your truck. I put them on my Chevy and can say they are excellent. Mine are heated, have the turn signal arrow and I can adjust them with my mirror controls.

I just bought the CIPA slide on ones at Camper World for $ 21 each....great deal. And they work great, look good and do not vibrate. Win, win, situation.

X2 on the OEM replacements. I just replaced the factory mirrors on my GMC with towing mirrors. About $250 and less than 2 hour install. Nice look, no shake and great viewing area.Bonus was I gained signals in the mirrors. If you drive longer distances and camp more than 6 times a year, I would say the investment is worth it. Its nice to know what's behind your vehicle or what your pulling around.

I've had 2 sets of Cipa custom fit mirrors and I've used several of the clip ons. The clip ons suck. The Cipa and the Fit System are the most cost effective if they make ones that fit your truck. I paid $45 for my current set of Cipa mirrors.

For under $200 you can get some OEM clones off Ebay with out power/heat. $210 for Power/heat/signal.

Otherwiese, CIPA or Fit System. I had the CIPA style on my prior truck and the Fit on my current. The Fit looks nicer and scratch less for the same amount of mirror size. But they both pale in comparison to OEM mirrors and their clones.

I bought a pair of strap on mirrors that worked well with the oval mirrors on my previous truck. They do not stay on the square mirrors of my new truck as the wind and vibration will shake them off without the addition of a small bungee cord to anchor them in place.
