Nah, they could probably pull a 18-20' light trailer as long as you kept the stuff in the vehicle to a minimum and only two people. My 3,600 GVWR trailer with a tongue weight under 500lb wouldn't be too much for a GC. But upping that to a toyhauler is in fact asking too much of the vehicle. Time to get a bigger tow vehicle if he wants to bring the toys =)
