When we bought our 2013 it was made clear to us by the salesman that the new model Exploders were NOT made to tow, or even go too far off road. Body on frame is gone and there is not provisions to mount a hitch, so you're left will bumper pull. His recommendation was to stick with nothing more than like a pop up. I think you get 500 lbs tongue and that's it. No WD hitch capability. I wouldn't push the new ones very far.
