First off, Whazoo made the 'no Whazoos' sign in a long ago TR -- I just copied it, hoping to tweak him a little..
Second -- I was thinking about dismounting the camper, and was ready to do so if needed to get through SOB Hill. But didn't make it that far. I thought it was too sketchy to try that last spot alone, even with a winch and equipment, camper or not. That would have been fun, huh? Camper at the top, truck at the bottom. Me whistling in the wind.
Beside that, I was still wondering just a bit how hard it was going to be getting back up Bobby' Hole.
Another possibility was to walk. Maybe 12 miles each way - possibly do-able in a day. 2 mph? Humm.
Jefe -- looking forward to you and others making the trip. No doubt it can be done, and has been many times. I just wasn't going to risk it out there alone. April was a great time -- dry, no body else around, mild days, chilly nights.
