There is that recent show Pacific Warriors on the Discovery Channel. One guy takes his dog on the Kayak ocean fishing. The dog stands on a platform on the back of the Kayak and seems to be having a great time. When I started reading I was wondering if Jake would go with you on the Kayak but as I read it seems not. I suppose the ocean Kayak is a much larger boat, and it is a smaller dog.
I am sure Cosmo would love taking a boat ride but I think it would require a bigger boat.
My kayak is 13.5 feet long and only has a 350 pound float capacity and is more for distance cruising at speed. I weigh 300 with all my fishing gear and Jake is 65, plus the aft deck is way too small for Jake. Now if I had a large Hobie Pro Angler and a Doggie PFD I might try it
