Trailer Mud flaps

Hi Everyone;

This spring when the five feet of snow disappears and we dig the trailer out of storage I want to install a set of mudflaps to help keep the trailer cleaner and protect the sewage connections that are right behind the tire. Any suggestions, ideas and pics would be great....only 54 days till spring officially arrives!

Thanks; Lou
  • Hi Everyone;

    Thanks for your input and ideas on this one. I have a good idea of what I will be doing when the snow melts in July.

  • Arctic Fox comes equipped with them. Not any cleaner if you run in snow and slush 300 miles and the sewage lines will hsve ice hanging on them.
  • Go with heavy rubber ones.I did a set of shiny Aluminum ones. lasted one month,after tearing two pairs of jeans.

  • try this idea . shelf bracket from hardware store and some 1/4' rubber . you can even use a semi truck flap cut to size.
  • I've got those big reinforced rubber squares. They seem to do a good job.

  • I put a set of heavy duty cloud rider mud flap on are new fifthwheel. They are the heavey black rubber with crome plate at the bottom. the cost about 100.00$. but they still look like new and they are 7 years old.just google cloud heavy duty mud flap
