Trailer stolled charging while towing

At the beginning of our last trip the trailer battery indicator showed charging she. I was plugged into the truck and now it doesn't. I check the trucks plug with a test light and the 12v power pin on the upper right shows that its getting power. Where should i start checking on the trailer to find the problem?

Oh and its a 2006 Dutchman victory lane 26srv
Thanks

I checked the truck end. Should the trailer side read voltage?
If it's connected to the battery it should.
  • Oh and it is charging normally with the gen on or when plugged into shore power
  • I found that cab thing and it has 12 volts at both ends and the only fuse I could find in the battery compartment is 7.5v and is good. Any other possibilities?
  • Follow positive cable from trailer battery and look for a auto reset CB

Check for 12V on each stud......some are auto reset, some have small reset button on side
  • That indicator doesn't mean much. The best thing to do is connect a volt meter to the trailer battery and then start the truck. The voltage should rise to nearly that of the trucks battery.
