Tranny fluid change
Got 70,000 miles on the current ATF oil, so today it and the spin-on filter got changed. I also dropped the pan to see if there was any sludge and it was clean. Love this Duramax/Allison combo.

By having to change the transmission fluid every 30k miles you're essentially doing a fluid exchange.
Sure glad I don't have to worry about having to perform that job every 30k miles IMHO.
The 30K is simple drain and fill, about 7 qt. Aisin states Mobil 3309 which a case of 6 is about $30, MOPAR labeled is like $60 a gallon.
60K a little more involved, drop pan and change filter, also send sample to Blackstone for lab work.
^To those who don’t know better, aka the starter of the thread, asking questions, you make it sound like an oil analysis is a service requirement.
For those unaware, it is not. It is a personal preference.
