Peeling decals are generally a function of exposure to the sun .
Higher altitude and sunny days are tough on decals .
Trailers kept under a shed are not subject to the daily heating ( expansion ) and cooling ( contraction ) that can be detrimental .
I find that washing my trailer roof and sides after every trip is what works best in the long run .
Although I mostly use MeGuiars products on my hobby cars I prefer to use the very easy " ICE " by turtlewax .
" ICE " is just a protectant and has no polishing abilities .
However , it is the fastest , easiest to use so I use it frequently .
It can be applied in the sun which some other products do not recommend .
