Travel trailers and appliances

The fridge cooling system operates the same in either mode. Electricity or propane just provide the heat sources in order for it to operate.

Yes The water pump is only used when you are pumping from the fresh water tank. You will have to fill the fresh water tank as well. The pump does not need to be on when you are hooked to city water. And the water heater will work on propane as well, but again the batter will have to be good. All propane appliances need 12V to work.

The AC will only work on shore power.

Two way refer means 120VAC or propane. Remember most refers will still need 12VDC as control voltage. Water pump brings water from the on board storage tank to the faucets, toilet, etc. It does not work unless there is water in the tank first.
Might be a good idea to hire a mobile service tech to come spend a couple hours with you and teach you all about RV systems.
