Trouble Shooting a wet.patch

Hi, got a 07 Nash 38l bumper pull that has developed a leak somewhere. Location of leak is unknown. Evidence of leak, wet patch on carpet just infront of the living room bump out. Not On the slide itself,.its.on the main floor. Roof was resealed last year and no other leaks evident. Has anyone got any good ideas, apart from rupping up the carpet etc. Thanks
  • Take some pics of the spot, the closest wall, and what's above it. Trying to visualize your trailer is just not gonna be easy, regardless of how well you explain it. Post the pics and I bet someone here will have dealt with it before.
  • Sounds like when your slide-out is in, the slide covers the wet spot area?

If this is true, does the wet spot get wetter when the slide has been out for an extended time? Or is it noticeably wetter once the wet spot area is exposed when the slide was just put out?
  • ill try to paint a picture of location of wet spot. 5 feet from entrace door. 3 feet from opposite wall, if there was a wall, it is the livinhg room slide out area. Three feet from bulkhead wall of bunk room. The floor from door to wet spot is lino. Carpet starts with metal holding strip. And its this area that is wet. Approx a.semi circle 12 - 18 inches diameter. Nothing is dripping.
  • Is the wet spot in the middle of the floor with standing water and if so, any sings of wetness or dripping from above?

I'm going to assume no. Then your wet spot on the floor is near a wall? It is very rare for a leak to travel up, so chances are it is coming from above or travelling within a wall. Does the wall contain a window?

Is the area noticeably wet after rain, using water within the TT or after using AC?

Waste water line is hung under the trailer floor.

Previous post about drain tube isn't referring to the waste water drain line, it's referring to a drain tube for the Roof A/C unit.
  • Can't take unit to a sealtech location. Not ac related. Waste water line is hung under the trailer floor.

if ac unit above wet spot, ck ac seal.

X2. If this seems possible, and the seal seems fine, it may also be a blocked drain tube.
  • Do a pressurized leak test and find your leaks. Sealtech is a commercial enterprise that has franchises across the country. Otherwise, get a blower and DIY.
