Not a Mammoth but it weights closer to 7000lb
The F550 handles it like nothing plus room to add tongue weight of a boat or trailer.
The ride is not good without the camper on so I ordered a Kelderman air ride suspension, but that will be another thread when it shows up.
The actual size of the truck is not much bigger than the 350 or 450 but what is underneath is what counts.
Good luck

Took me few years to figure it out, but F550 is first in the series that is build for cargo hauling and is having rear axle to the rear.
Even F450 has axle close to 1/2 of the bed, what makes it grocery getter.
That said my F350 carries 5500lb camper just fine. Not too much to spare as 300lb of waste water in the rear was pretty noticeable, but thanks to 3.55 differential I have no problem to make 13 mpg with camper.
Decision, decisions, decisions.
