Truck To Tall

Question

Hi All,Traded a Ram 1500 4x4 for a Ram 2500 4x4 truck to pull our existing travel trailer.The Eaz Lift W/D hitch set we have from the 1500 truck is to high on the new truck and can't be lowered anymore. So we are looking at a new shank insert that is longer to use with the 2500 truck. Here is what we found and think should work. I had that problem with my Tahoe.  Bought a 7" drop shank on e-bay.  They adjusted it at the dealership.

You can turn the shank upside down if it's not all ready. When I went from a 1500 to a 3500 that worked for me. If I put a shank as long as your looking at I would be ripping up the pavement on my driveway.

I re-measured and you are right that shank will be only 4" inches off the ground. Canceled that one and now back to the search.

Are the TTs axles above the springs? If so they could be moved to below the axles (flipped) and lift the TT about 4".
