After I replace the rotted wood in the back 2 corners of my TT and staple the aluminum siding back in place, what is the best leakproof sealant / caulk / putty to use on the corner joints?

Do not use Silicone or sealants found in home stores. It will not last. Proflex RV Sealant (lap sealant / not self leveling). Very tricky to work with. A little goes a long way. Do one small area at a time as it skins over quickly.Use dab of liquid soap on finger to form and smooth out bead. Have turpentine and rag ready to clean up excess. Painters tape will help to keep sealant off of siding.
