Older Fords had an impact switch in the passenger kick panel that had to be manually taken out and reset.
Newer Fords just need to have the key turned off and on a couple times to reset the fuel valve.
That is almost freakish, because I very rarely hear of problems with Suburbans. Usually those things go through insane amounts of abuse.
