Understanding hot water
We just upgraded from a Pop-up to a Travel Trailer and I'm not sure how the hot water heater works. We never used it on the PUP. I'm reading there is a bypass on the TT that I'll need to turn off/on...

If you get water from the hot faucet, it does not guarantee there’s water in the water heater. If it’s bypassed, you’ll just get cold water.
You have to be sure the valves are not set in bypass mode and/or pull on the relief valve to see if you get any water out when the system is pressurized.
