Things I noticed that increased/decreased fuel mileage: wind, winter/summer blend, weight being pulled, profile of tow, speed, elevation changes, elevation in general, blend of fuel (contains more oil than others). stop and go. and temp. You will benefit from slowing down and have it checked out by good mechanic.
