My 2006 LBZ gets 10-11 MPG pulling a 15,400 lb. fifth wheel. The 2 things that make the mileage change for me is speed (I usually run about 64-65 mph) and mountains.
I just did a trip with the truck alone with about 1000 Lb. in the bed and got 17+ mpg.
