Good luck getting it changed, but I commend you as its one of the dumbest safety features employed since early abs systems. (Which I named nbs systems back in the day cause if the road wasn't perfect, abs would act like someone just cut your brake lines!)
Earlier post is right. USED to be able to re program the tpms but ram updated their software to not allow this any longer.
I've re programmed 2013 and 2014 Fords and Rams but read on Cummins forum that this no longer can be done. Combine that with taking away the light load button on the Dodges really sucks.
But then again I'm ocd about idiot lights on the dash.
