- SCVJeffExplorerHere's the link he just sent: FAN.
Just last week I removed both of mine, both completely dead from dirt and rust. If you can return it, I would suggest you instal a snap switch like Old Biscut shows, and install a couple of THESE fans. They are by far the quietest out there, they are sealed Ball bearing, the motors are IP55 compliant (meaning they are rated for very wet and harsh environments), and because they are a fiberglass composite, they are rated to withstand 250 degrees plus temps. Expensive? Yep..
I plan on installing 4 and turning them slow - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIThermal switch on burner tube
Pick up 12V DC at fridge terminal
Best to install fan high/center so t pulls air in lower vent and up/over cooling unit VS blowing air up from bottom
Pulling air helps with 'draft'
Blowing air just creates turbulence and can actually disrupt draft - SCVJeffExplorerWhich one? Got a link?
