Any one have one? Thought reviews?
  • Picking it up Tuesday then Thursday taking it camping until Tuesday:)Hopefully no problems.
  • hitch. reese dual cam with chain hanger pn.58306. they also offer pn.58305 . works good with v nose with power tongue jack to lift pressure off spring bars.
fuel mileage. so far seems close to our last trailer.2013 Winnebago Minnie 2201 26.9 ft 4850 shipping 7800 max.
  • Thanks for the replies. Makes me feel better you dont see a lot on these trailers.
  • we bought a 2014 v cross 30vsk in march 2015. camped about 4 weeks and 1500+ miles so far. love the layout. towed good in winds from florida to Michigan in april.
  • We are starting our second season with our windjammer and we really like it. I don't think the v nose makes any difference when towing but we really like the floor plan

I use a propride hitch and couldn't be happier

  • We've been to AZ and UT several times from MO. No towing issues. Needs to use the Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch because there is no tongue room above the frame for chain hangers. Enjoy!
  • We have had a VCross front kitchen model since 2009 (2010 model). Zero problems except for usual replacement items. Will be moving to a fiver, but only because of the larger space. The vee front gives a huge kitchen and it pulls like a dream.
  • We have a 2014 34 foot Windjammer the Forest River sister to the V-Cross. We love it and it tows very nicely. We went from Fort Myers, Fl to Oregon last summer and had no problems. We have the front closet and really like the floor plan. We put 9,000 miles on the truck and I would guess 6,000 to 7,000 miles on the trailer. We towed with a 2002 Chev. Silverado 2500 with 8.1 engine. This year for our 50th anniversary we got a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 with the 6 liter. We have towed only in Florida with it so far, but next month we will be heading to the Canadian Rockies, Yes we love the trailer and believe it will be strong for a long time. I kept count last year and saw eleven V-nose trailers.

Welcome to the V-nose club and check out the Forest River Owners forum.
  • I am picking up a 2014 VCT 30vsk, just wondering how they tow and if you had any issues, Dont see many of them around. My wife really likes the bedroom
  • I have had the trailer in my signature since July 2012. Any specific questions?

I had an early issue and Forest River stood behind it. No major issues since.
