I went from a 2007 Kodiak Skamper 23SS (weighed 4,400 lbs. at the scales) to the trailer in my signature (6' longer and 2,100 lbs. heavier) with my 2004 Expedition with the 5.4 and HD tow package.
While I was well within the Expy's tow rating and just 49 lbs. over on tongue weight, it was not fun to drive. Really white knuckle.
You can make it less bad with LT tires, air bags, and prayer, but you'll still be at the limit of your truck.
