Dr J the Canuck. I tried to stay at the RV Park where the underground mine tour was located but the place was all full up. May have been a blessing in disguise because the pit mine was right there on the other side of the fence and wind was howling through the whole park like a beast. The pit may have worked like what sailors call an acceleration zone. There is a lot of stuff in New Mexico and Arizona I plan to return to with Kelli and do it right. The BLM campground at the Valley of Fires is one of them.
