Water Issue

Hey guys, not getting water at my sink. Just a very little dribble. New pump, so I know it's fine. Water is fine in the bathroom shower, bathroom sink, and outside shower. Just the kitchen sink where I have an issue.

Any ideas for troubleshooting? Hoping this is easy.

Thanks, Marty.
  • If you don't want to replace the faucet nor drill out the screen, disconnect the water lines, open the both valves full and then blow it backwards with only medium to light pressure. Preferrably with a water hose which will wash more of the trash out. Make sure to catch the little bit of water and debris a towel or bucket.

Leave the valves open, reconnect the water lines and then turn the pump on. You want to run a little bit of water through the valves to clean any debris before closing them or you risk messing up the seal.

No, I replaced the pump myself. I do have water coming out, just not much more than a dribble.

Tried to get the aerator off to check the screen and can't get it to budge.

A drill bit will clean it out - permanently.

Take the pliers to it! If not you can replace it with a regular kitchen faucet.

  • It's the faucet. Replace it with a residential unit. I picked one up at Ace Hardware for $30 that was drop in replacement. RV faucets stuff are junk.
