Water pump
When boondocking do your water pump come on after you open up a facet. Or when there is no water moving. My water pump come on and off when there is no water moving. Do I need to replace my pump?

- The pump automatically turns on when pressure is "low" and then off when "high". As long as the water pressure is in the "middle" then mine does not turn on. So the regulator in the pump could be bad, or there is a leak (in the line or a faucet). I would look at all the water lines that you can access for any sign of water leak/damage before changing the pump.
- Pump should not run. Check the water heater to see if the drain or pressure relief valve is seeping. Check the city water port to see if it's weeping. Heck check every fitting you can find in the water system and see if there is any water seeping out.
- You either have a leak in the plumbing somewhere, a faulty toilet valve or the check valve in the water pump is not functioning properly.
The pump should not cycle when all faucets are closed.
