Weathered decal replacement

What do you do when the front large decal with the trailer logo is weathered and is coming off? I called the company but they don't make that logo anymore since they have been bought out (Nomad). Our repair shop says the decal is easy to take off the rest of the way. Can you order a large decal to go where the old one went? Thanks
  • It's been my experience that no matter what you do, a ghost image of the graphic will always be there.
I removed the sticker and had the front cap repainted by a shop. A bit costly but the two part epoxy paint is far more durable than the original finish and looks great.
I'd post a pic but photobucket lost all my images :M
  • There are multiple places that make RV decals including some on ebay. Google RV decal. You might get lucky and find an exact replacement. If not, an automotive decal/wrap shop may be able to duplicate yours. As a last resort, you could buy a custom decal with many options for scenery, animals, or somewhat off the wall scenes.

Not to difficult to remove the old ones. Some use a heat gun and plastic scraper. But I had better luck using a 3M Eraser wheel and 3M Adhesive remover.
