- facoryExplorerWe find that a little scented fabric softener works well for the black tank. 2-3 capsful does it. Also works to keep the suds down in the gray tank. Makes it easier to drain.

Bought a bunk ladder so my 7 year old can get in his bunk easier, and added a solar powered vent cap/fan for the black tank vent pipe. Our bathroom has an odor no matter what chemical we use in the black tank. RV dealer said "welcome to an RV bathroom, a lot of them smell a little".
Hopefully creating a constant negative pressure in the black tank will solve it.
are you leaving it too dry perhaps? its also possible the black tank gas pipe was mounted to low and the water/waste is blocking it when it starts to fill up.
Can you leave the black water tank too dry? I always have water in mine when camping/traveling but what about when the TT is setting for awhile?

As the sales guy said,1'you spend tens of thousands for a nice TT and then they give you a bag of straw to sleep on!"
We travel a lot not just a couple weeks a year and the need for something proper to sleep on is paramount! - 69CamaroSS396ExplorerWe have added to our 2014 Jayco White Hawk 27DSRL:
Lazy Boy leather recliners in place of the very cheap swivel rockers
Memory foam mattress toppers
BAL X-tended fit X-chocks
Bedroom wall mount TV
Blu-ray player w/wi-fi, as part of a completely separate system from the pitiful stock Jensen unit and speakers.
Maxxair vent cover
Progressive Industries PT30C surge protection
Looking to add JT Strong Arms soon.
I'm sure the list will continue to grow.

In preparation of dry camping I will be installing a long range wifi repeater and cellular amp antennas next week. I have my smart repeater from my old TT but I have to get a new cellular booster.
Can you tell us what kind of repeater you will be using and some photos of how you do it. Very interested in this. - CrabbypattyExplorerIn preparation of dry camping I will be installing a long range wifi repeater and cellular amp antennas next week. - 08trdoffroadExplorerInstalled a pair of bal scissor jacks on the front of the frame for addition all stabilization.
- ADK_CamperExplorerI installed a 110 VAC duplex in the front pass-thru storage so I can conveniently power a portable battery charger. The OEM WFCO on board converter will NOT go into Boost mode no matter what. It's stuck in Absorption mode which can literally take days to recharge a depleted battery.
