What does BHDS stand for?

I've noticed that there seems to be an industry standard way of naming travel trailers. I've particularly noticed that I like BHDS trailers. I'v seen that BH means bunk house, but I am unsure what the DS stands for?

Also, if there anywhere that provides a list of all these different "models" and what they mean? It would be a lot easier for me to track down what I want if I knew. 🙂

Thanks,
Dave

Who knows? That could be a really good seller!

It is hilarious that people want to argue about the model designation meaning. Like already said, there is no industry standard, each manufacturer makes up their own designation. A designation of BHSS could mean that the

Steve and

Absurd? Yes, but there is no standard meaning.

We have a 301RLS.

Rear living room, two slides and 301' long. I never thought it was that big.

My BHS has bunks (not a separate bunkhouse) with a slide, but opposite the dinette. So S either means single slide or non-dinette slide.

My previous "JB" trailer had bunks but no slide. Not sure what the J stood for.

My 21BHS is a bunkhouse with a dinette slide, so just to settle the matter, we can assume s means single slide, not non-dinette slide. That's as authoritative as we'll get. 🙂

I have a Flagstaff Micro Lite DS21...it does not have bunks, but it has a deep slide in which sits the dinette and is 21 feet long.

Mines a keystone hornet 38BHDS. I was told it stands for "bunk house dual slide. I have a deep slide in the dinette, and a shallower slide in the master. No slide in the bunk house at all.

Then that would be a 38BHDSDSSMNSBH.
