I just read the actual report about the new Palomino HS-2911 in TCM.Where can I find any intelligent Progress on the floorplan (Palomino like many other manufacturers) ? I mean: such a gigantic camper and only such a little, tiny place to sit - like the chickens do. On this side 2 people sitting, other side two people. So much room all in all, but no real comfortable place to stay cosy.In our Adventurer 810WS sometimes we were sitting with 6 people around the table. Much more room to sit in a smaller camper.I think, in order to do some revolutionary new invention, one has to start to change the "living room" in such a large camper.Sorry. If you had someone sitting opposite you in the dinette you would have to explain to them the facial expressions that were happening on the tv .Some of the floorplans require physical therapy sessions after a trip. I have heard they actually pay people to design these things.

Easy fix just rip it out and replace with round table and chairs... The worse thing you will lose is some precious storage space under the seats... That is what in Sister did with her big trailer...I certainly don't have that problem with my setup. We don't have room for a table inside which makes us sit outside at the picnic table or in the chairs under the awning...Works great for us - would rather be outside anyway...Roy Ken

I just read the actual report about the new Palomino HS-2911 in TCM.I looked at the pics on TCM this morning on this camper. I hope the pictures are misleading about the shelf behind the sink and stove. One only has to try to reach something on the shelf with the stove being used to have a possible injury. Again, I hope all I was looking at was the angle of the picture and not reality.

jmtandem-So you noticed that too. Looking at the pics on the kitchen slide sure is deceiving.RoyB-I agree with you and would rather be outside than inside either at a picnic table or in a lawn chair under the awning.

I don't understand that overhead kitchen slide idea. That second level "countertop" particularly. Even the rep from Palomino said he had a hard time reaching it.Michael

Not only have they single handily eliminated Large TC's for Couples as they can go places they cannot, they are now a smallish family RV(27ft-30ft) that looks like a Hilton Apartment Off Road.
Another manufacturers "Grenade"

They can be not exactly lightweight

I don't get it either.

Mine has two slides, and I've got a TON of room for seating---with a comfy sofa to boot.

We had a camper for many years, and eventually changed to a 5th wheel for that very reason, more comfort at night when you are sitting inside.
I still have a camper and love it for short trips, fishing etc, but for any extended holiday we use the 5th wheel.

Defeats the purpose of have a TC. Here if you want something big and now many cases luxurious(Hilton Suite on wheels), you get an Off Road Caravan.
