what is the vinyl/rubber strip along roof line called

Hi all,

The vinyl/rubber strip that runs the length of my trailer between the rubber roof and the vinyl siding is cracked from the hail storm. It runs the whole length of the trailer from front to back. It is similar to the stuff that surrounds the cargo doors and the main door.

Does anyone know what this is called. Can I order 60-70 ft of it without going through a dealer. It would be easy to replace just pop the old out and insert the new.

I have a 2004 Jayco Jay flight.

Thanks for your help

    "Screw concealment strip."
  • just a suggestion....when you pull that strip out of the molding,i would check all the screws for rust or tightness.loose, rusted screws into the sidewall are a good place for water to seep into the sidewall.
  • Look at the website of JR Products. This trim come is 3 different widths, narrow, and heavy duty.

  • Trim cap? Yes any RV dealers parts department should have it in 100 foot rolls
